The best find on our trip to Souris, PEI. The food was exceptional. And what a great view! We stopped for dinner and liked it so much we came back for lunch the next day!

One of the best places to eat on P.E.I. !! Was there last year for Burger Love and had an amazing burger! In all ate there 3 times on two separate trips and was never disappointed. Staff is fantastic and we'll certainly be eating there again next trip!

Very cool location, unique setup and a homey feel. I’m only giving it three stars because the burger I ordered was good, nothing special. The side dish was not good at all. I ordered fries and being in PEI, I would expect that they would have fresh fries, not generic store bought frozen fries. The service was alright, they were nice but not to talkative or enthusiastic about the menu.

What a gem in Souris, PEI! The staff is wonderful and very friendly. We had a chance to break-in the new standing room deck and it was fantastic. Views of the ocean and nice ambiance. Five star place!

The best food I had during my trip to Prince Edward Island. Everything was fantastic & absolutely outstanding (food and service). Make sure to leave some space for dessert :)

I went for lunch with my girlfriend and it was delicious. She got the fish chowder and I got the chicken sandwich and both were extremely good. We’ll be back the next time we’re in PEI!

Excellent view, comfortable setting. Great food at reasonable prices.

Kids chicken fingers were amazing. The fish and chips were uniquely delicious. The pork sandwich was a little chewy but the bacon on it was a nice touch. We are on the verandah which was ideal and allowed the kids to run around while we waited. Atmosphere was cozy and view was peaceful and quiet. Very enjoyable.

Good food, nice view, great staff. The portion are a litte small but very good.

Amazing food!! We had the house salad and breakwater burger - all so delicious!! The burger especially was like no other! The salad was extremely fresh and the house dressing simply perfect. All that while enjoying the ocean view on the patio!

Best restaurant in Souris

Great experience! The menu is not page after page of selections but what they do serve is great quality food. It can be a little loud when it's busy due to the small dining area but the service was great. Hands down the best place in souris to have a delicious meal at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through souris. I guarantee you will leave with a full belly and a smile. P.s the burger is a must try.

We showed up not knowing that we needed a reservation, but they still managed to squeeze us in. It's a good thing we lucked out - amazing food, great atmosphere, friendly service.

We arrived at the restaurant at 7:45 with no reservations. Instead of telling us a wait time, they told us the only place we could sit was outside. Because we are visitors to the island and the restaurant was recommended by the boat cruise captain, we decided to have a seat. It was chilly out, but we were dressed for it. What upset us was 1. Two two pigeons perched above us, that even startled the waitress when she came out, and 2. as the restaurant was emptying out, we could have been offered a seat inside.I had the chicken and my husband the hamburger. The only reason I’m giving 3 stars is my husband enjoyed his hamburger and the view of the water was nice. My chicken was dry and by the time I got to the mashed potatoes, they were cold, as I was paranoid of the pigeons perched above us and the mosquitos that seemed to want us for dinner.

Awesome and creative gourmet food off the beaten path. Worth the drive and the wait.

Stopped in on day out of the blue, good food nice atmosphere and loved they had a little play room for the kiddos to play in while we waited for our meal.

This restaurant is one of my all time faves. I have had such good meals here. Our server Miranda knew the menu. Gluten free is easy here. The fryer is shared with a couple of items with gluten, which could be a problem for the very allergic. The food is so fresh and so well - prepared, that the meal should be a treat. We had the seafood dip with house made potato chips. How are they so tasty, the right thickness and not one bit greasy? The house salad with goat cheese is divine. Our hamburgers were expertly cooked. My tiny appetite father ate the whole plate of Portuguese fish and chips. We were so surprised. A testament to how good things are. I recommend a lighter dessert but I am sure the bread puddings were good. We had upside down cheesecake. Delicious spices on the crumble topping. Easy to make gluten free but was not.

Incredible lunch in the heart of Souris! We didn’t make a reservation, but they happily found us a table on the patio. Absolutely fantastic food! And a solid wine, beer and cocktail list. The lobster and crab dip is a must as well as the Bifana sandwich and salads are top notch. The menu has a ton of options! Highly recommend.

Food and service was great. Only giving 4 stars because my partner is gluten free and our server didn't know what she could eat. Otherwise amazing

A family favorite. We'll take the Portuguese fish & chips over Rick's in St Peter's everytime. Greatly prefer both the fish and the potatoes at Breakwater 21.

Excellent food and service.

This place was incredible! We were seated without a reservation and the staff were so friendly and sweet. You can't go wrong ordering anything here, especially the sticky toffee cake! And that view, so peaceful and gorgeous!

Had the piri piri chicken which was all in all highly refined in flavour and tender, but lacked a bit in tanginess/zing.

I absolutely loved this restaurant. It was in a house and had a comfy yet quirky viba. Probably my favourite restaurant in the East Coast. I had the steak with potatoes and veggies. Everything was delicious. My husband had the Portuguese fish and chips and he was also very happy. All in all a great place!
